Yes, I know, when it rains it pours and that happens a lot in our flamenco scene here in San Diego. Some of you will be busy with the Nations Dance Festival which takes place the same weekend. I know, somehow we will make it work.
WORKSHOP DETAILS

Fanny will be teaching upper body, arms and also a technique and choreography class.
Classes are open to all levels.

Beginner Level: Fanny will be teaching basic arm and body movements along with some footwork.This is a great opportunity for beginner students. Usually 2 day workshops are not geared to beginner students. Take advantage of this!! 

Intermediate Level:  Fanny will teach Technique and choreography. Palo TBA. If you have any suggestions on what you would like to learn message workshop coordinator. Reyes Barrios. This workshop is open to all.

Diego, El Cigala will be performing as part of this year's installment of the New World Flamenco Festival in Irvine, California.


The three-time Grammy winner,  has captivated audiences all over the world with his gravelly voice and passionate interpretation of flamenco. Born in Madrid, Diego el Cigala has often been touted as "The Sinatra of Flamenco. His various collaborations with world-renowned Latin American artists have earned him a reputation for seamlessly melding the rhythms and melodies of his Spanish Gitano heritage with styles ranging from bolero to son, tango, and Afro-Caribbean jazz.
